2020 Exo-Sanctuaries: a multi-spacial installation
Now scheduling exhibits for 2020 and beyond this collaborative installation is on the 2020 exhibit calendar for Sangre de Christo Arts Center, White Gallery of the Art Museum.
Exo-Sanctuaries is dedicated to conveying the idea of the environment as shelter and sanctuary, while exploring humankind as part of and distinct from the natural world. Comprised of several distinct environmentally-inspired installations, Exo-Sanctuaries seeks to immerse the visitor in visceral interactions with dramatically atmospheric renditions of natural forces. The viewer is invited to move in and out of the work, becoming a part of the work themselves.
Topographique: an integrated spacial experience - Concept Stage
The imagery, sculpture and poetry here is inspired by two global forces: (1) the instinctual need to build and develop within the natural world (2) the incidental and destructive impact of war rippled lands, sculpted, plowed, re-colored, stripped and re-shapen.
Images available upon request.
2. Creative Processing
